Lenten Fish Fry Dinners
Friday Evenings | Masci Hall | 5:00 – 7:00PM
The Knights of Columbus/Christopher Council’s annual fish fry dinners will start on Friday, February 19.
Dinners are subject to COVID restrictions, with limited socially distanced seating available for members of the same household. In addition to our usual take out dinners, limited contact curbside service will also be available. Credit card payments are accepted.
Telephone orders will be accepted after 4:00PM for pick up after 5:00PM. Please call or text (302) 598-8685.
Your prior support of these dinners has helped fund some of Christopher Council’s charitable activities during the pandemic such as providing over sixteen thousand (16,000) lunches for the homeless and needy during the past year. By helping Christopher Council, you help support the food pantry, the Parish, feeding the homeless and needy, Special Olympics and many other charitable works.

Religious Education Update
Monday | March 22, 2021 | 6:30PM
  • 2ND, 6TH, 7TH, and 8TH Grades | Religious Education students will report directly to Church at 6:30 PM. We will have our Lenten Prayer Service and Confessions for the children so they can have the opportunity to go to Confession before Easter. Please drop the children off at Church using the side door with the handicapped ramp.  All safety protocols will be in place (please wear your MASKS). 
First Eucharist Prep Class
Sunday, March 21 | 12:15PM | Masci Hall
Meeting for all children preparing to receive their First Communion this spring. This is a CHILD ONLY meeting.

With visits to the Repository until Midnight.
Good Friday, April 2
  • Morning Prayer – 9:00am in Church
  • Confessions – from 1:30pm until 2:30pm
  • Liturgy with Veneration of the Cross and Communion at 3:00pm in church
  • Stations of the Cross – 7:30pm
Holy Saturday, April 3
  • Morning Prayer – 9:00am in Church
  • Confessions – 3:30-4:30pm
  • Easter Vigil Mass – 7:30pm
There is no 5:00PM Mass today.

  • Masses are 7:00am, 9:00am and 11:00am

CHRISTIAN FORMATION
Our Parish Religious Education Program encompasses all parishioners from the “Cradle to the Grave”. We offer spiritual enrichment through Monday night classes for children who attend public schools, early childhood thru Children’s Liturgy of the Word, Sacramental Prep, Youth Group and Adult Formation Classes.

Our Pastor
Msgr. Stanley Russell
Reverend Monsignor Stanley J. Russell, VF, was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended St. John’s University in Brooklyn and Jamaica, New York and studied for the priesthood at St. John’s Seminary in Collegeville, Minnesota and Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1961.
He has been pastor at St. Helena’s Parish in Wilmington since 1994.
